Qigong can be practiced through movement and meditation. All kinds of energetic and sensational body movements can be generated. However random movements may provide very little result and high level achievements can be out of reach.
Hua Gong Forms consist of some formalised Qi movements. They are a result of natural selection and refinement through time and experience. They are like the cream of the moving Qigong. Practicing the Hua Gong Forms is like following a shortcut to a destination and the end result can be more assured.
Over the years there have been various forms of movements developed in the Hua Gong method which are taught and practiced on various occasions . The Hua Gong Forms retreat this year provides an opportunity to learn and practice a whole set of the most updated Hua Gong Forms, covering the Jing (body), Qi (energy) and Shen (spirit) aspect respectively, which defines accordingly the Fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced level of the form.
The main function of the Hua Gong Forms is to cultivate good health and long life as general benefits, and to train in the essential skills of Hua Gong as a dedicated practice.
It is suitable for both beginners and experienced Hua Gong practitioners especially those who are or want to be Hua Gong Instructors.
