Insight Meditation and Qigong Silent Retreat
GAIA HOUSE, South Devon
16-23rd April 2010
Brad Richecoeur and Norman Feldman
No experience necessary.
Settling into a spacious awareness of the present moment we can begin to allow the busyness of daily life to fall away and rest gently in the simple moment to moment experience of what is. Through the sitting practice of Insight Meditation and the standing and moving meditations of Qigong (which are suitable for all levels of experience) a steady mindfulness is cultivated, allowing insight into our true nature to effortlessly arise, leading to a more wise and compassionate relationship with ourselves and the world. This is a silent retreat with alternating periods of sitting meditation and Qigong practice.

Insight Meditation and Qigong: Stillness and Movement
GAIA HOUSE, South Devon
October 15-19th
Brad Richecoeur and Catherine McGee
No experience necessary.
In this retreat, we will cultivate a sustained and gentle attentiveness to the movement and stillness of body, heart and mind. As we bring investigation and kindness to this constantly changing experience of life, the entanglements that bind us become more visible, allowing us to soften and open to the simple perfection of the moment. Through this cultivation we can access a spaciousness, which allows our natural compassion and wisdom to become more available to us. The Qi Gong practice is very much part of the meditative inquiry, using simple standing and moving exercises suitable for all levels of experience and health.
Cost: £140/£198 for food and accommodation.
Dana:Teachers accept donations for their teaching of the retreat.
